This physicality from other racers is undoubtedly down to Hotshot Racing’s drafting mechanic, which is much more generous than any I’ve seen before it can see you catching distant racers in moments. One crash could send you into a wall, particularly on higher difficulties, but it soon becomes part of the fabric. Swarming orange markers remind you of their constant presence from the moment you break ahead of the pack, but despite being designed to do so, they rarely prepare you for regular ramming.
