“The goal was to create a new kind of genre,, where the concept of survival is transferred from the individual to the community. It’s convenient then that virtually every system in Tribes of Midgard is designed specifically to maximize convenience. Helthings spawn at night and give your defenses a good workout, but there’s always a real threat that either they or the giant Jötunn will eventually overrun your village and destroy your Seed of Yggdrasil. This conveniently places you at the center of the world, but by no means are you safe. The primary goal throughout Tribes of Midgard is to defend the Seed of Yggdrasil in the center of your village. And in a full party of 10 players, it’s pretty darned fun. As an Einherjar, a powerful warrior revived by Odin to prevent Ragnarök, you won’t be fighting other players for loot, but instead you’ll go out and hunt, gather, and collect souls and materials that you can collectively pool together to purchase advanced fortifications, shops, and upgrades with. Developer Norsfell’s Tribes of Midgard is a 10-player procedurally-generated action-RPG, and it’s all about cooperation rather than competition. If you’re an ARPG fan or a survival game fan who’s been jonesing for the next big thing, you might be in luck later this month.

It allows you to add, remove, and drag points around the graph. The app also has a somewhat simple graph fan curve editor. Thus, you can fine-tune the fan control response with steps, activation percentage, and response times, and hysteresis. However, the app's main purpose is to provide you with as much control as possible in order to keep your workstation at an optimal temperature. For example, you can create custom external temperature sensors using the said '.sensor' file. It allows you to save, edit, and load multiple profiles at once, and it's capable of reading the temperature from multiple sources such as the CPU, GPU, motherboard, hard drivers, and the '.sensor' file. The first one is based on linear function, the second on a custom curve, the third is based on a temp that holds the speed until a target temperature is met, the fourth allows you to use two different curves and apply a mix function (max, sum), and fifth syncs to an existing control, while the last allows you to set a fixed percentage value. The fan curves types are linear, graph, target, mix, sync, and flat. To be more precise, this is one of the few apps that allow you to mix different curves, sensors, and graphs and even create custom fan curves. All about the fan control without cutting down on customization optionsĮven though there are a couple of other apps of this sort out there, the main thing that sets FanControl apart is its high customizability. The main thing you have to know about FanControl is that it uses the following three libraries: LibreHardwareMonitor, MaterialDesignInXamlToolkit, and NvAPIWrapper. If, however, you want more control over your computer's fan speed and functions, you can use FanControl, a free fan controlling software. Unless you're a hardcore gamer or a user who actually needs to tweak his or her computer's fan speeds, both the OS and the computer's own internals do a pretty good job of keeping things under control.
